West Town is Community Area 24 of the 77 official city neighborhoods.

Its boundaries are Washington St (100 N) north to Bloomingdale Ave (1800 N), and the Chicago River west to Grand Ave and Sacramento Blvd (3000 W). Humboldt Blvd is the western boundary North of North Ave (1600 N). West Town's better known sub-neighborhoods include a part of Bucktown, East Village, River West, Ukrainian Village, and Wicker Park. The area just east of Humboldt Park (the park itself, not the Humboldt Park community area) is what people today commonly refer to as the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
