West Ridge, more commonly referred to today as West Rogers Park, is Community Area 2 of 77 on the city's official list. It's also sometimes referred to as Nortown. Sub-neighborhoods include Arcadia Terrace and Peterson Park.

Its boundaries are, generally, Bryn Mawr Ave (5600 N) west of Western Ave (2400 W) and Peterson Ave (6000 N) east of Western north to Howard St (7600 N), and Ridge Ave (2200 - 1800 W) west to the North Channel of the Chicago River.
