The Washington Park neighborhood takes its name from the park that forms its eastern border - and borders Hyde Park on the west. Washington Park is Community Area 40 of 77 on the city's official roster.

Washington Park encompasses the area from 63rd St north to 51st St, and Washington Park and King Dr (400 E) west to the Dan Ryan Expy.
