All of these developments are participating in a housing initiative sponsored by the City of Chicago and the Partnership for New Communities. These new and rehabbed condos, townhouses and single-family homes are priced from $150,000 to $450,000. Buyers at these developments can qualify for a variety of incentives including money for down payment and closing costs, free upgrades, financial assistance from area employers, and federal tax credits.
