Can't keep up with YoChicago throughout the week? Here are some stories you may have missed:

The Glens of Connemara captures buyers' attention with a mix of modern luxuries and Lemont charm. From little league parades to its Tuesday farmers market, Lemont boasts all the characteristics of small-town charm, a primary reason the southwest suburban community entertains generation after generation as well as a surplus of new residents.
With roots dating to the mid-1800s, Lemont which is about 30 minutes from Chicago's downtown, has evolved into one of the Southland's quiet gems. Though the town's population has sprouted in recent years, Lemont maintains its cozy feel amid rolling terrain and winding waterways.
Against the backdrop of this Rockwell-esque portrait sits The Glens of Connemara, a collection of 20 luxury estates from Castletown Homes, one of the Southland's most reputable names over the last four decades.
Lemont still has an old town, historic feel despite being right in the middle of the Southland's growth," said Castletown Homes sales manager Ann Bell, herself a Lemont resident for the last dozen years. "The Glens of Connemara gives people high-end executive living in this charming, family-friendly town."
The Glens of Connemara's single-family luxury homes reach up to 4,000 square feet. Starting at $479,000, buyers select from one of four four-bedroom / 2.5-bath homes, each of which includes a first-floor study and three-car garage. All Castletown-built homes feature elegant touches, such as oak flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a masonry fireplace to go along with brick-and-stone exterior construction.
Many of the home lots in The Glens of Connemara border golf course property, parkland, cul-de-sacs, or Ludwig's Farm, providing homeowners scenic views, safety, and privacy.
"We're getting interest from all types of residents, all of them attracted to Castletown's reputation for building a quality home, the value we consistently provide, and the character of Lemont," Bell said.
The Glens of Connemara is quickly accessible by Route 83, I-55, or a pair of I-355 exits (127th Street or Archer Avenue). The community is located on 131st Street just west of Bell Road. The Castletown Homes' sales office and model homes are open from noon to 4 p.m. daily, or by appointment.

Looking for a high-rise home in Lincoln Park, but you're not sure where to look? Coldwell Banker agent Lino Darchun is a Lincoln Park expert, and when it comes to the neighborhood's tower's, he's one choosy cat. In this video, the first of two about Lincoln Park high-rises, Lino names four buildings that he would recommend to buyers. Posted 3/12/2010 by Joseph Askins
Grab some hors d'oeuvres and a glass of wine and follow me through two three-bedroom condos at Belgravia Group's 600 Lake Shore Drive. Last week I attended a brokers open house at the double-tower development to see its brand new model -- an 11-tier home, which can range from $1.24 million to $1.4 million -- and an existing 12-tier model, a floor plan that can cost as much as $1.9 million.
Both homes have great views of the lake and Navy Pier immediately to the east, and as you'll see from the first half of this video, they can hold a lot of guests should you decide to throw your own cocktail party. Posted 3/12/2010 by Joseph Askins
