Irving Park is Community Area 16 of the 77 on the city's official list.

Its boundaries are, generally, Belmont Ave (3200 N) to Montrose Ave (4400 N) west of Pulaski Ave (4000 W) and Addison St (3600 N) to Montrose Ave (4400 N) east of Pulaski, from the Chicago River west to Cicero Ave (4800 W).

Irving Park includes the neighborhoods of Kilbourn Park, Old Irving Park, South Old Irving Park, The Villa and West Walker.
